Pound for pound, many anglers find the smallmouth to be the best fighter of all popular gamefish. Our guests catch many bass up to six pounds each year. Fish this favorite with light tackle on the many reefs or rocky shorelines surrounding nearly 500 islands. Argued to be the best eating of all fish, walleye are found in abundance all over Eagle Lake. Thanks to lake's conservation program with slot limit sizes, the walleye fishery is better than ever. Each year, several trophy fish over 10 pounds are taken.
